Childcare

At BFUMC, we are committed to providing childcare for all church activities to make sure that the parents of our congregation can attend the events that fill their spiritual and fellowship needs and that all committee members can attend to their responsibilities without worry.

 

Our Nursery Staff has been through our Safe Sanctuaries training and background checks are performed on all Staff and Volunteers working with children at BFUMC, so you can feel comfortable with our babysitters.

 

We also have youth and apprentice babysitters to help out when there are a lot of children in the nursery.  Babysitters Club is a place where you can find CPR trained youth to care for your children in your home, as well.  Let your children get to know our babysitters here in the Church Nursery and perhaps they will find a favorite!

 

If you are concerned that there might not be childcare for an event or meeting you would like to attend, please do not hesitate to call Wendy in the Family Ministry Office at 818-845-1531 x116 or email wstackhouse@bfumc.net and she will schedule a babysitter if there is not one already planned.  

 

BFUMC also provides childcare on Wednesday afternoons from 3-6pm during dance class and Merry Music Makers rehearsal times. If you have more than one child in our programs on Wednesdays and they have class at different times, they may play in the nursery until they are all done.
